The Colloff's "ANCESTRAL" Home??

Oak Cottage, Situated on the corner of Oak Lane, and High Rd, Finchley. Leased by Benjamin Colliffs (sic) for £13. 15s per annum, from 1818 to c 1822. It was part of a 5 acre plot. The sign in the front garden says Nursery and Wreaths.

The cottage was boarded up and eventually demolished c 1965. And the land was incorporated into Vale Farm Estate.
