An Introduction.
My name is KEN COLLOFF and I've been researching the COLLOFF name for a number of years, along with
MILDRED COLLOFF nee LAMBERT, JOHN COLLOFF, ROY COLLOFF and LYN JAMES nee COLLOFF.
This site contains the results of our research to date.

We have two main trees and a couple of smaller ones, and at present we are back to the late 1700s.
The first main tree, Benjamin, and two smaller ones, Thomas and Charles cover the London Colloffs
from the late 1700s. The other main tree, Joseph, covers the Midland Colloffs from 1850s

There are three trees that go back into the 1700s. Benjamin c 1780, Thomas c 1780 and George 1796.
Those three could be brothers or cousins. Still looking for the connection.

It was around the late 1700s early 1800s that we believe a name change took place,
Hence the Kohlhoff/Coltlove connection link. A lot more research still to be done.

Joseph c 1814 (who started the Midland tree) and Charles b 1823 are sons of Benjamin b c 1780.
I only split the trees to make them managable.

The one thing I have found from all the research, is that all COLLOFFS in England are related, be it 1st 2nd 3rd 4th
5th or even 6th cousins. Probably umpteen times removed.
